I graduated from The Aveda Institute in Toronto, & continued working with Aveda in Burlington for five years.
I love textured and lived-in haircuts, affectionately called, “Haircuts that don’t look like you just had a haircut”.
Although I had never particularly enjoyed colour, I was scouted on Instagram for a hair salon specializing in colour and blonding services. This was when I started to really enjoy colour, especially dimensional highlights, fashion colours, and colour blocking.

Sherrai attended the AVEDA Academy in Toronto where she received a full scholarship. At Toronto's oldest salon, Civello Rosedale, she worked alongside some of the best stylists in the industry. She then joined the second oldest salon in Toronto, John Steinberg & Associates, where she was the most senior stylist with well over 300 clients.
After moving back to Hamilton with her growing family, Sherrai opened The Corner Room and is proud to contribute to the positive energy in the city.
